We love families at Round Corner Dental! We think it’s essential to establish a good check-up routine at a young age so children can develop the skills for maintaining excellent oral hygiene for the rest of their life. We understand going to the dentist can be an intimidating experience, for little ones AND for adults. We want to change this! We’ll try our best every visit to make sure you as a parent feel heard and informed, and your child is treated with care and understanding.

Regular six monthly check-ups are the best way to maintain dental health and prevent disease and decay. We offer thorough examinations, oral hygiene treatments and fluoride applications to check, clean and strengthen the teeth against any issues in the future. We also sometimes recommend dental x-rays to check between the teeth, and for some patients, fissure seals can be used to prevent decay in those hard-to-clean deep grooves in your teeth.

Fillings can be used to change the colour or shape of the tooth, and repair broken or chipped areas. We have a wide range of composite shades to choose from, so we will be able to match the colour your existing tooth structure and give you the most natural looking restoration possible. Crowns, bridges and other forms of restorative dentistry can be suitable in certain cases as well. Our goal is to provide you with strong, natural looking work that will last.

Dentures are a removable form of replacing missing teeth, and whether we are replacing a few (partial denture) or all (complete denture) of the teeth, high quality dentures can restore function and provide confidence.

We can also arrange for repairs or relines to improve the fit and feel of suitable existing dentures.

It’s essential to protect the teeth when playing any form of contact sport. Old, damaged or ‘off the shelf’ mouthguards won’t fit the teeth perfectly and may slip or fall out making the teeth and mouth vulnerable to painful injury and expensive restoration.

Sometimes, larger x-rays can be useful to show the position of Wisdom Teeth, unerupted permanent teeth or as a reference for patients requiring Orthodontic work. At Round Corner Dental, we have an OPG machine on site that can take an image of the entire mouth, so we don’t have to send you away to an Imaging Clinic.
